"Medieval
Market"
We are delighted to announce
that the Oyster Fayre Medieval Market is Full again this year.
New attractions for 2011
are a German Baker
using a wood fired oven
to bake bread on site,
and a specialist in all
things Elderflower
including a very tasty
sparkling wine.
"Mummers"
We Have 'Melford
hys Companie' of Mummers
returning this year and
also lots of
Living History Groups
who will also
demonstration Craft skills
and some
Armoured combat.
"Food
at the Fayre"
There will be an excellent
selecting of food
available from our 14
Caterers, and a very
fine Beer Tent, so no
need to pack a lunch,
just come to the Fayre
and stay all day.
"Dogs
at the Fayre"
There is no bi-law Council
regarding dogs
coming into the Park.
Also we have no problem
with dogs
so long as said dog is
not a problem.
Many of our traders bring
their dogs with them.
These dogs lie peacefully
at the back of their stalls
defending their territory.
There have been occasions
when dogs have been taken into the traders' tents and all hell has set
to.
So please keep your dog
out of the tents and on
a lead at all times. If
it starts to bark then it is becoming a problem and will have to leave.
Water is available at
a stand pipe near the
Boating Lake Kiosk.
"Publicity"
Printable Handbills and
a weekend programme
are available from the
Bill of Fayre,
just click here
for a direct link.
